Bravadžiluk Street is located in the central part of Sarajevo’s old bazaar, and stretches from Baščaršija Mosque to Vijećnica (City Hall).
It was first part of Kovačka Čaršija (the market for blacksmiths), which was established in the 16th century. The street takes its name from the craftsmen who specialized in making locks and padlocks which were produced and sold in this čaršija (bazaar).
